"Big Dreams" is a 30-minute performance crafted for six young dancers aged 13-16, accompanied by two professional dancers and featuring original music composed by Vilde Tuv.
This piece delves into the uncharted within the familiar, fueled by the aspirational desire for something monumental. Drawing inspiration from spirituality and pop culture phenomena, we seek out concealed elements that yearn to emerge. Infused with the profound influence of growing up in the 90s and 00s, the performance aims to amalgamate the hopes and dreams of different generations into an unexplored, grander narrative.
"Big Dreams" was featured in a triple bill presented by DanseFOT/Nagelhus Schia Productions in 2021. DanseFOT is a regional immersion and talent program for young dancers in Viken, Norway.
